University of the Nations is an international training institution with 600 locations on all continents and in 160 nations. Including a number of bases here in the Caribbean. Scroll down to learn more, or visit the International website!

YWAM’s training programs aim to equip Christians to serve others in everything from agriculture to linguistics, from drug rehabilitation to cross-cultural ministry. YWAM’s foundational course, which serves as the prerequisite for all other training programs, is called the Discipleship Training School (DTS). Most YWAM courses can be combined into degree programs through YWAM’s University of the Nations.

YWAM courses, often called “schools,” combine theory with practical application. They usually last between three and nine months. For many YWAM students, the intensive learning combined with community living–often with fellow students from many nations–makes for a transformational experience.

A few of the courses held in the Caribbean…..

Bible Core Course

This Course gives students a good understanding of the Inductive approach to Bible study, learning how to think critically, equipping them with tools for life. The students read through the whole Bible and every type of biblical genre is studied, with books from both the Old and New Testament.

Foundations in Counselling Ministries

A course to equip those who feel called to reach out to broken, hurting people. As the entry course into degrees in the College/Faculty of Counseling and Health Care, it establishes the foundation stones for a biblical counseling ministry, especially within YWAM and the missions community.

Word by Heart

In this course students will memorize weekly Scriptures from one of the Gospels in their native language and tell it as an eyewitness might have done. They will learn storytelling skills and practice natural memory techniques that differ from a “rote approach.”

We offer these and a variety of other UofN courses.
